It's always something

So I get an urgent call from my primary care doc at the end of the day. "Remember that Cipro prescription I gave you a few hours ago that you just started taking? The secondary tests came back and it turns out that your infection is resistant to Cipro." so another trip to the pharmacy and now I'm taking Cefuroxime. If it ain't one damn thing, it's another. Hopefully this will fix it...

oh, no. How frustrating. I hope this one will take care of it. Even though we are rejoicing with you that the big problem (that C word) is taken care of, we understand that these complications and side effects are still a huge negative in your life at the moment. Ron's mom is in the hospital with complications related to her cancer surgery, too. It's hard, but you will get through it. I'm still praying for you.

Me, too. And it appears the prayers have worked.

Hopefully you have some relief by now, and really glad they caught that before the weekend began!
